We are appealing for information after an incident of vehicle interference in Chestnut Road, Northampton.
The incident occurred between 10pm on 27th July 2026 and 6am on 29th July 2026 whilst it was parked.
Between the stated times unknown person/s have entered the vehicle by unknown means and conducted an untidy search of the vehicle , no items have been stolen.
We are keen to hear from anyone who may have any information relating to this incident, or that may have been in the area around the time of the incident and heard or seen anything suspicious. Please call us on 101 quoting reference number 26*449754 or report to us online here.

The cost to repair damage to the vehicle will usually exceed the value of the theft Drivers of some Toyota and Honda vehicles and some 4 x 4’s should install measures to deter theft of catalytic converts e.g Catloc | Catalytic Convertor Theft Protection Lock your vehicle every time you leave it, even for a short period Check windows are fully closed Do not leave keys inside the vehicle Consider security measures such as steering wheel locks, alarms, and dashcams Report suspicious activity immediately via 101 or 999 in an emergency
